Vanilla Bourbon Cranberry Sauce

  • 12 ounces cranberries
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 orange slices
  • 2 tsp orange zest
  • 2 ounce bourbon
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste


  1. In a medium pot over medium high heat add in the cranberries, sugars, water, orange slices, orange slices, orange zest, bourbon, and cinnamon sticks. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until the cranberries burst open. After 15 minutes reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the vanilla bean paste. Let the sauce cook completely and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
