A delicious cranberry sauce perfect for the holidays. Made with fresh cranberries, oranges, vanilla, and bourbon.

- 12 ounces cranberries
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 orange slices
- 2 tsp orange zest
- 2 ounce bourbon
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste
Instructions
- In a medium pot over medium-high heat add in the cranberries, sugars, water, orange slices, orange slices, orange zest, bourbon, and cinnamon sticks. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until the cranberries burst open. After 15 minutes reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the vanilla bean paste. Let the sauce cool completely and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
