Strawberry Mojito Cocktail

Mojitos are a summer favorite around here. I can’t think of a better way to spend my sunny Saturday afternoon than with a delicious lunch and a refreshing mojito, a Strawberry Mojito Cocktail that is! This is a simple cocktail recipe that anyone (over the age of 21) can make for your cozy entertaining because everyone loves them.

Another great thing about mojitos is are how versatile they are; you can make a mojito using any of your favorite fresh juicy fruit. Black berries, peaches, raspberries, and even watermelon would be good fruit substitutes or additions as well. This cocktail is straightforward, slightly sweet, and because of the fresh mint REFRESHING!

How to make a strawberry mojito cocktail

Step 1

In a cocktail shaker, add the strawberries, lime, mint, simple syrup or sweetener. Using a muddler (or spoon), muddle the mixture to release the lime juice, mash the berries, and release the mint oils. Pour in the rum to the mixture, add ice and cover the shaker and shake it well.

Step 2

Pour the drink into a glass and top off with your soda. Give it a stir and garnish. You can make this into a mocktail by leaving out the rum.

Classic and refreshing strawberry mojito


Ingredients

  1. 3 fresh strawberries (halved)
  2. 1/2 lime (3 wedge slices)
  3. 6 whole mint leaves
  4. 1 ounce simple syrup (you can use any sweetener you prefer)
  5. 2 ounces white rum
  6. 1 cup Ice
  7. Club soda (or ginger beer)

Instructions
