This Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini Cocktail is a delicious twist on a class cocktail that many of us like to enjoy for brunch or as an evening pick-me-up cocktail. This drink comes together in minutes and what I love the most other than the taste, is that the flavors are balanced yet intense. You will need freshly brewed espresso or cold brew concentrate. I recommend the espresso because the warmth helps to create a beautiful foamed top. You will then boost the caffeine with a coffee liqueur such as Godiva or Kahlua. The star of this cocktail is the pumpkin spice simple syrup which is made with brown sugar, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Ingredients
Vodka. Any quality vodka will work well in this cocktail. I used Titos Vodka.
Coffee Liqueur. I used Kahlua because that’s what I usually have on hand. Mr. Black Cold Brew is another liqueur to use as well.
Freshly brewed espresso or cold brew. I prefer to use very warm freshly brewed espresso because it helps to achieve a luscious foam on the cocktail.
Pumpkin spice simple syrup. You can make your own following this recipe using pantry ingredients or you can use store-bought.
Martini or coupe glass
