This Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini Cocktail is a delicious twist on a class cocktail that many of us enjoy for brunch or as an evening pick-me-up cocktail. This drink comes together in minutes and what I love the most, other than the taste, is that the flavors are balanced yet intense. You will need freshly brewed espresso or cold brew concentrate in addition to a coffee liqueur such as Godiva, Kahlua, or Mr. Black. The star of this cocktail is the pumpkin spice simple syrup made with brown sugar, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Ingredients
Spirit. I like using whiskey or bourbon in my martini because I think they add more flavor. Any quality vodka will work well in this cocktail.
Coffee Liqueur. I used Kahlua because that’s what I usually have on hand. Mr. Black Cold Brew is another liqueur to use as well.
Freshly brewed espresso or cold brew. I prefer to use room temperature, freshly brewed espresso because it helps to achieve a luscious foam on the cocktail.
Pumpkin spice simple syrup. You can make your own following this recipe using pantry ingredients, or you can use store-bought.
Martini or coupe glass
