Meet your instructor-
Hi, I’m Jaylynn and I’m so glad you’re here. Learning new things in the kitchen is one of my favorite things to do and sharing my knowledge with you is the best part! I am a self-taught home cook and lover of all things oxtail and fresh ingredients.
My classes are designed for beginner home cooks but I believe that we’re all beginners in some way. My hope is that when you leave my classes you will feel proud, empowered, and satisfied with what you have made.
Because some of the dishes can be a little more involved than others, I have put together prep packets for your specific class that will help you easily navigate your recipe while remaining engaged. No one wants to feel rushed over overwhelmed in the kitchen, so the prep work and Mis En Place notes in your packet are strongly suggested. I can’t wait to see you in the kitchen!
What happens after you book?
You will receive a confirmation email sent to the email used to book the class. You can opt to received text notifications to remind you about the class 30 minutes before it begins.
Who should take these classes?
These classes are for beginner cooks. However, they are fun and interactive for everyone to enjoy.
How should I Prepare?
Please download the prep packet for your class. In the packet you will find a grocery list, prep instructions, and recipes.
Where is the class?
- Each class is a password-protected Zoom session. You can download Zoom at www.zoom.us
- You will receive an email with a session ID and password 30 minutes prior to your class.
- Late attendees may not be admitted and classes are non-refundable.
Will there be dairy-free substitutions?
When booking through Calendly, please indicate your specific dietary needs. I will also suggest and include substitutions in the prep packet.
Will classes be recorded?
Classes will not be recorded. Each attendee will receive the recipes in the prep packet.
