How to make a Grapefruit Mimosa

Making the simple syrup

  • Add all of the ingredients to a small pot stir until the sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. Remove from the heat and store in a glass jar in the refrigerator.

For the cocktail

  1. Pour the tequila and grapefruit syrup into a champagne flute and top with the cava.

A Grapefruit Mimosa featuring a delicious grapefruit simple syrup and tequila


Ingredients

Grapefruit simple syrup

  • 1 tbsp grapefruit zest
  • 1 cup fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 grapefruit wedges

The cocktail

  • 1.5 Tequila
  • 2 oz grapefruit simple syrup
  • Cava, chilled
  • 1 sprig rosemary

Instructions
