What I love the most about mule cocktails is that you can make several different variations by adding syrups, fresh citrus, and swapping out vodka for different spirits. 3 Mule Cocktail Variations to try
Cranberry Orange Moscow Mule
Add the Cranberry Simple Syrup, lime juice, orange juice, Vodka to a copper mug and stir well. Add ice then top with Ginger beer. Garnish with cranberries and rosemary for garnish.
Pineapple Mexican Mule
Add the pineapple juice, lime juice, Blanco Tequila, and Ice to a copper mug then top with Ginger beer. Garnish with dried or fresh pineapple for garnish.
Sweet Rosemary Grapefruit Mezcal Mule
Add rosemary simple syrup, grapefruit juice, lime juice, Mezcal, to a copper mug and stir well. Add ice and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a grapefruit slice and rosemary sprig for garnish.

Pineapple Mexican Mule
1 oz Pineapple juice
1/2 oz lime juice
2 oz Blanco Tequila

Grapefruit Mezcal Mule
1 oz rosemary simple syrup
2 oz Grapefruit juice
1/2 oz lime juice
1 and 1/2 oz Mezcal
Ice
Ginger beer
Grapefruit slice and rosemary sprig for garnish
Instructions
Cranberry Orange Moscow Mule
Add the Cranberry Simple Syrup, lime juice, orange juice, Vodka to a copper mug and stir well. Add ice then top with Ginger beer. Garnish with cranberries and rosemary for garnish.
Cranberry Simple Syrup recipe
- Heat equal parts water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Add in equal parts cranberries and bring everything to a boil then reduce the heat to low. As the cranberries begin to break down you will hear them pop, start smashing them with a spoon or fork.
- Once the liquid thickens to a syrup consistency, remove the pot from the stove.
- Strain the syrup into a container using a mesh strainer and discard the cranberries.

Add the pineapple juice, lime juice, Blanco Tequila, and Ice to a copper mug then top with Ginger beer. Garnish with dried or fresh pineapple for garnish.

Rosemary simple syrup
Add equal parts water and sugar to a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low and add in 1 rosemary sprig. Simmer for 10-15 minutes then strain and discard the rosemary.
